Leon Ronald Teachey Sr. of Wilmington, NC passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2023. He was born on July 5, 1937 to Leon and Eloise Teachey.
Leon pastored for over three decades and often hosted Southern Gospel concerts. A loving husband and proud father of three boys, he was also a former restaurant owner who enjoyed people. He was faithful to Christ throughout all his trials by God’s grace.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Elizabeth Marie Teachey, his sister Patricia, his three sons, Leon Teachey Jr., Gary Teachey and Kevin Teachey, along with three grandchildren.
A funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, October 23, 2023 at Coble Funeral and Cremation Service at Greenlawn Memorial Park with Reverend Kevin Teachey officiating. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
