Laura Suzanne Murphy

Sue as she was known, was the daughter of the late Norman & Irene Fuller of MI. She was married to the late great Patrick J Murphy of 50 years.

Sue is survived by her children Michael P Murphy, Rebecca L Grulich & husband Charles, Kelly M Hall & husband Mark and grandsons Hunter P. Hall

and Hudson R Hall also her sister Sharon Rymas and husband Robert who live in FL.

Sue graduated Pershing High School in Detroit, MI in 1952 and after graduation she entered the Air Force. She was stationed in several bases and ended up in Virginia studying to become a cryptographer and making a career in the service when her father fell ill and she was honorably discharged to go home and take care of him and her younger sister Sharon. Sues father passed on June 1956.

Sue started working for Kilpatrick & Martin Engineering in Detroit. She was a great athlete and played softball, bowled, roller skate and was a member of a ski club. Soon she met her husband Patrick Murphy and they were wed on June 24, 1961 in Westland MI where they raise their children.

Later in life Sue and Pat retired to Ft. Myers FL to be closer to family and friends. She will be missed by many.

Sue didn't want a service, just happy memories and donations made to Liberty Homecare & Hospice Services, 2550 S. 41st Street, Wilmington NC 28403.
