Kenneth Dwight Messer, Sr. of Leland, North Carolina passed away on November 13, 2023. He was born in Washington, DC on October 26, 1947 to Jimmy Messer and Peggy Jernigan. Was raised by his father and Step-Mother Mildred Boney Messer, whom all are deceased.
He is survived by his wife Cindy Messer, daughters: Amy Smith and husband Scott, Julie Gomez and husband Antonio and son Dwight Messer all of Leland; four grandchildren: Alex Messer, Jazmin Gomez, Nicki Gomez and Christian Gomez; sister Vicki Blizzard and partner Mike Hanson of Little River, South Carolina and brother Stanley Messer of Macon, Georgia.
The family will receive friends from 10am to 11am on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at Coble Funeral & Cremation Service at Greenlawn Memorial Park Chapel. A Memorial Service will follow at 11am with Pastors Jerome Bullard and Julian McMillan officiating.
