Joyce Bowling Bevan

Joyce was born on December 16, 1948 in Southport, NC, daughter of the late Monos Bowling and Molcie Reynolds Bowling. She is also preceded in death by her son, David Andrew Bevan.

Joyce was the owner/ designer of Elegant Accessories Wedding Cakes and Flowers for more than 15 years.

Joyce is survived by her husband of 48 years, Victor J. Bevan, Jr.; daughter, Stephanie Bevan; sister, Betty Dale Bowling Jordan and her husband Jimmy all of Wilmington, NC and twin sister, Lois Bowling Powell and her husband Michael of Carolina Beach, NC; 3 nephews, 1 niece, 4 great nieces and 2 great nephews.

Visitation will be held from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Service.

Graveside Service will be held at 11:30am on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at Oleander Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lower Cape Fear Hospice.
