John Thomas Watkins, 73 of Rocky Point, N.C. was called home by his Heavenly Father on November 7, 2016. He was born in Rocky Point, N.C. on February 10, 1943 to the late John Henry Watkins and Caldonia Pickett Watkins.
Mr. Watkins is survived by his wife Norma Grace Watkins, daughters; Jo Ann Watkins of Wilmington, N.C., Norma Jean Blanton of Rocky Point, N.C., Sharon Rowe and husband Bob of Albemarle, N.C., sons; Robert Sipple of Rocky Point, N.C., Henry Cowart and wife Michelle of Rocky Point, N.C., sister, Pearl Watkins of California, 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
John Thomas Watkins was a member of Living Grace Community Baptist Church. He was a wonderful husband and father. He loved the Lord and always kept a smile on his face.
Visitation will be held from 6:30PM-8:00PM on Thursday November 10, 2016 at Coble Ward-Smith.
The funeral Service will be held at Coble Ward-Smith at 2pm Friday November 11, 2016 with Pastor Albert Bradshaw officiating, burial will follow at Oleander Memorial Gardens.
