He was born in Wilmington, NC on December 25, 1981. Kevin graduated from Hoggard High School and obtained a B.A. Degree from UNC-W.
Kevin loved to cook. He worked as a Chef at Verizon Wireless. Kevin’s hobbies included fishing and collecting Nike SB Shoes.
Kevin is preceded in death by his grandparents, Roscoe “Pete” Bass and John David “Jack” and Jessie H. Godbold.
Kevin is survived by his parents, John David and Deborah Godbold ; grandmother, June Bass; brother and best friend, Jon Wesley Godbold; Aunts and Uncles: Delores (Rickey) Hamilton, Mike (Debbie) Bass, Pam (Don) Smith , and many cousins.
A visitation will be held on Saturday July 30, 2016 at 1:00pm at Fellowship Baptist Church in Wilmington, followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 2:00pm with Pastor Arnold Griffin officiating. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
