She was married to Roy Wayne Bates, who passed away in Feb.22, 2007.
She had three children, Joseph Bates who Passed away on July 2, 1990, and is survived by daughter, Donna Marie Pothier and son, Robert Wayne Bates.
She had seven grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.
