Mrs. Coble was born in Burlington, North Carolina on June 25, 1918 and was the daughter of the late James F. and Mary Rieves Griswold.
In 1945, Mrs. Coble along with her husband, Randolph Ladd "Randy" Coble, Sr., founded Coble Funeral Service and in 1967, Oleander Memorial Gardens.
Surviving are her husband, Randy of the home; three children, Randy, Marsha and John; three brothers, Merritt, Nuby and Ralph; two sisters Essie and Minnie.
Funeral services were held at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 28, 1974 in the Oleander Chapel of Coble Funeral Service with the Reverend Gordon Ball and the Reverend Rufus Stark officiating. Entombment services were held on Sunday at 10:00 a.m. in the Oak Chapel Mausoleum of Oleander Memorial Gardens.
