She was born in Columbus County on August 23, 1942 to the late Georgia Lee Brown and Juanita Miller Brown. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Ronald Pittman Sr.
She is survived by her daughter, Frances Pittman Mindak and husband Jeff Mindak; son, James Ronald Pittman, Jr.; brothers, Carl Brown and Douglas Brown; 3 grandchildren; Christian Allen Pittman, Michael Adam Pittman and Tiffany Abigail Mindak and 2 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2017 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Service, 3915 Oleander Drive Wilmington, NC 28403.
Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 4:00pm at Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Service Chapel with Dan Bennett officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lower Cape Fear Hospice Care Center.
