He was the grandson of the Hon. James W. Hufham whose family was instrumental in developing many communities, buildings and businesses. Fred learned the business world from his grandfather, the son of Mrs. Sharon Hufham Rose. Fred was the devoted Husband of Caroline Lazara Rose, and father of two sons - James Rose and Fred Rose Jr.
A devoted business man, he was a talented entrepreneur who enjoyed great success in his business ventures. Fred grew up near the water and his family and friends enjoyed fellowship together in Christian ministries and family events and holidays.
Family and community relations are key aspects in developing strong roots in any business and community. Fred believed strongly that these lessons are building blocks that are essential in helping businesses and families - which are vital lessons in our day and time.
A visitation for Frederick will be held Friday, March 8, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Coble Funeral & Cremation Service at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 1155 Shipyard Blvd, Wilmington, North Carolina 28412.
A funeral service will occur Saturday, March 9, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Coble Funeral & Cremation Service at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Entombment will follow at Oleander Memorial Gardens.
