Frank Griffin

He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Ruth, of 62 years

Mr. Griffin was a retired machinist from Corbett Package Company. He served his country during World War II, as a naval head cook, for 4 years.

Surviving is his son, Eddie Griffin, Leland, N.C., daughter Sharon (Tracy) Lunceford, and husband Johnny Mark, and daughter Angie Gordon and husband Jack, both of Castle Hayne, N.C. 5 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.

Family will be receiving friends and family at the home of daughter, Tracy. 3824 Sondey Road, Castle Hayne, N.C. Tuesday evening .

A grave-side service will be held Wednesday, March 4, 2:00p.m., Greenlawn Memorial Park. Flowers will be accepted at Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Home, Oleander Drive, Wilmington, N.C. prior to Wednesday’s service. Condolences to the family may be offered at www.coblewardsmithwilmington.com
