Frances was born on September 26, 1925 in New Hanover County, NC, daughter to the late Franklin and Margaret Greer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis H. Hand; daughter, Frances Greer Hand; nephews: Jay Franklin Gerald, Randy Greer, David Greer and Tony Greer.
Frances was an executive secretary at Piedmont Aviation, Inc. in Winston-Salem until her retirement. She enjoyed playing Bridge and her Big Hats and Ear Rings.
Frances is survived by her sister, Nancy Greer Gerald.
Graveside Service will be held at 2:00pm on Monday September 28, 2015 at Forsyth Memorial Park, 3771 Yadkinville Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27106 with Pastor David Tabler of Eden United Methodist Church officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to Lower Cape Fear Hospice or Windermere Presbyterian Church, 104 Windemere Rd, Wilmington NC, 28405.
