Mrs. Ireland, from Haddon Heights, NJ was the daughter of the late Catherine and Colby Newcomb.
She was a gifted seamstress, cake decorator, crafter, and an active member of Harbor United Methodist Church and TOPS club. Her joyful spirit, infectious smile, and faithful servant heart leave family and friends a legacy of love.
Evelyn is survived by 6 daughters; Barbara Ireland, Ginger Hontz and Lee, Kathy Conway, Sheri Berk and Thomas, Lois Coccia and Michael, Janice West and Allen, sister: Edith Newcomb Giberson, 17 grandchildren: Courtney, Kevin, Tatum, Leon, Stephen, Jim, Marianne, Kelsey, T.J., Cory, Sami, Michael, Daniel, Gabby, April, Sarah, and Matthew and Great granddaughter: Annabelle.
Friends will be received at 10:00 AM and a memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, April 6, 2015 at Harbor United Methodist Church, Wilmington.
