In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Ricky Fowler.
He is survived by his daughter, Kim Smith and husband, Chris; sons: EJ Fowler and Ethan Fowler and fiancé, Jordan; sisters: Patricia, Sandra, Belinda; grandchildren: Dalyn, Lena, Jake, Emberlyn, Weston and several nieces and nephews.
Eddie was loved by all who knew him, being strong minded, humble, patient and was kind hearted.
He was an avid outdoorsman. Eddie loved hunting, fishing, playing baseball with his boys and buddies.
He was also accomplished in Taxidermy and Carpentry (master craftsman).
A Visitation for Eddie will be held on Monday, April 24, 2023 from 5pm- 8pm at Coble Funeral and Cremation Service at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 1155 Shipyard Blvd, Wilmington, North Carolina 28412.
A Memorial service will occur Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at 2pm at Coble Funeral and Cremation Service at Greenlawn Memorial Park, with Rev. Ken Sarvis officiating.
