Drew F. Robbins, age 91, of Leland, North Carolina passed away on Tuesday, March 25, 2025. She was a North Carolina native, Brunswick County native, southern gentile woman, Steel Magnolia, wife, mother, mother in law, Granny, Great Grandmother, strong Christian woman. Good or bad times, her lifelong faith in Jesus didn't falter.
Drew departed this world to heaven peacefully at home, surrounded by family, on March 25, 2025.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Cecil, and her youngest son, Jimbo, sisters Anne and Betty Jo, and a brother, Phillip, Jr. She confided in her family that she was ready to go home to be with Jesus herself.
Her confidence was not in man-made religion but a strong and settled assurance that Jesus was her Lord and Savior.
She is survived by her son Cary, daughter Lynne (Dick), grandchildren: Freddy (Tiffany), Teddy (Rebecca), Martie (Dustin), Chad (Rebecca), Matt (Heather), Danielle (Huston), Nicole (Tanner) Joshua (Sarah), and Adam,13 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Drew will be held Wednesday, April 2, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Coble Funeral & Cremation Service at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 1155 Shipyard Blvd, Wilmington, North Carolina 28412, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
