Donna Williamson Crawford

Donna was born on November 22, 1955 in Whiteville, NC, daughter of the late Ruby Best Williamson and John Clifton Williamson.

Donna was a graduate of New Hanover High School class of 1974 and worked at New Hanover Regional Medical Center until her retirement in 2013. Donna was very involved with her community serving on many roles in and on the board of such events as the Coastal Carolina Air Show, River Fest, Poplar Grove, Cape Fear Fair and Expo, Hospice Festival of Trees and NHRMC Coastal Classic.

Donna is survived by her daughter, Melissa Fulp and her husband, Brian of Wilmington; brother, Stuart Williamson and his wife, Dot of Wilmington; nephew, Dane Williamson of Texas; nieces, Alex, Cassi and Leannah Williamson all of Wilmington.

Visitation will be held from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Monday September 23, 2013 at Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday September 24, 2013 at the Wilmington First Pentecostal Holiness Church, 2901 Chestnut Street, Wilmington, NC 28405, with Pastor Paul Evans officiating.

Graveside Service will follow at Oleander Memorial Gardens, 306 Bradley Drive Wilmington, NC 28409.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Lower Cape Fear Hospice or Brain Tumor Foundation.
