His survivors include his mother Tiffany Horton of Leland, NC, father Gene Gonzalez of Leland, NC; brother Aidan Gonzalez of Leland, NC; aunts: Tracy Horton of Boise, ID and Bernitza Gonzales of Los Angeles, CA; uncle David Gonzalez of Los Angeles, NC; grandparents: Henry and Consuelo Gonzalez of Los Angeles, CA, Dale and Patricia Horton of Boise, ID and his cat pal”Buddy”.
Diego loved fishing, skateboarding and surfing. He loved life to the fullest and zest for living. He loved being with his friends and he had many of them, no one was a stranger.
A visitation will be held from 1-2pm on January 2, 2024 at Coble Funeral and Cremation Service, 1155 Shipyard Boulevard Wilmington, NC. A Memorial service will follow at 2pm at Coble Funeral and Cremation Service Chapel with Scott Henson officiating.
