David Tucker Copeland, 67, died on Monday, April 15, 2019. He was born in Birmingham, Alabama on May 31, 1951 to Ernest and Mary Hill Copeland.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son Adam Copeland.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Gale Carroll Copeland, son James Copeland and wife Emily, grandchildren; Matthew and Lucy Copeland, brother John Copeland and wife Connie, sister Rose Carroll, and many friends.
In his younger years he served as a minister of music and youth. David always had a song in his heart. If you spent any time with him, you always heard him humming his favorite hymn. He also enjoyed woodworking, fishing, and spending time with his grandkids.
A memorial service will take place in Birmingham, Alabama at a later date.
