Connie Faye Cardwell Gurganious

She was born on June 25, 1946 in Wilmington, NC daughter of the late Cleve Ashton Cardwell and Roxie Maxine Mayers Cardwell. She was also preceded in death by her husband; Harlee Gurganious; daughter Beth Weaver; brother, Cleve Ashton Cardwell II; great-grandchild Charlotte Lavoie; and her best friend Louise Ball.

Connie is survived by her children; Lisa Lavoie of Wilmington, Tammy Glenn of Wilmington, Chris Glenn and wife Robin of Rocky Point, Courtney Bailey, Courtney Sexton, Daniel Gurganious and wife Kristina, Michael Woodcock and wife Carol, Craig Woodcock, Vicky Woodcock; sister, Dorothy Murray and husband Fred of Wilmington; Grandchildren; Whitney Glenn, Kelsey Fentress and husband Sean, Catherine Lavoie, Matthew Lavoie, Michael Patton, Brooklyn Sawyer, Joshua Wright, Allison Hudson, Andrew Weaver, Savanah Patton, Kaitlynn Gurganious, Ginny Kurbjeweit and husband Michael, Kelsey Bailey, Matthew Bailey, and Anya Alducin; great grandchild, Jaxson Fentress; longtime friends Doug Smith of Kure Beach, Johnny Yopp, and Agatha Warren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 5:00pm to 7:00pm on Sunday, August 5, 2018 at Coble Ward-Smith Funeral & Cremation Service, 3915 Oleander Drive, Wilmington, NC 28403.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00pm on Monday, August 6, 2018 at Hampstead Baptist Church, 67 Factory Road, Hampstead, NC 28443.

Interment will follow at Oleander Memorial Gardens, 306 Bradley Drive, Wilmington, NC 28409.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Carousel Center, 1501 Dock Street, Wilmington, NC 28401.
