She was born in Wilmington, NC on November 8, 1942 daughter of Johnny King, Sr. and Louise Yandle King. Charlotte is preceded in death by her husband, Jacob Adron Teachey; daughter, Deborah Lynn Teachey; father, Johnny King, Sr. and Mother, Louise Yandle King; sisters: Nancy Logan, Lou Smith, Judy Bradshaw and only one son, Johnny King Jr.; one special granddaughter, Rachel Teachey and nieces and nephews.
Charlotte loved to be with her husband vacationing at the Outer Banks, fishing and enjoying the beach. She enjoyed being with all her family at Christmas, Thanksgiving and other special days. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Enjoyed looking out the window and watching the birds fly in the bird houses and having baby birds in the houses. Planting flowers was her enjoyment. She enjoyed her time bowling on a league, taking time to read and do crossword puzzles which she was very good at them. She always enjoyed playing cards at home with her daughter, Debbie. She enjoyed daily shows on time with no distractions.
Charlotte is survived by her Sons; Mark Adron Teachey (Debbie) and Daniel Glen Teachey (Susie; daughters: Renae Beville (George) and Cyndie Moore (Wendol) Also survived by her grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Charlotte will be held on Monday, June 10, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Coble Funeral & Cremation Service at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 1155 Shipyard Blvd, Wilmington, North Carolina 28412.
Funeral Service will start at 11:00 AM in the Coble Chapel. Interment will follow at Oleander Memorial Gardens, 306 Bradley Drive, Wilmington, NC, N.C. 28409.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be made to Ocean House.
