Charlotte Elaine Tischler Policari Andrews left this Earth early to continue to travel the world from heaven at the age of 72 years old. Her Children Gina and Gregg were by her side. Born in Brooklyn and raised in Flushing Queens, then moving to Florida in her 20s, Charlotte lived in Wilmington, NC but her main residence was The Villages, Florida.
She is proceeded in death by her father Solomon Tischler, mother Helen Tischler, and her loving and caring husband Philip Andrews.
“Mom” as she was known by her loved ones is survived by many family and friends. Her Children Gina Policari (Mike Rosen), Gregg Policari (Karie) and Dylan (her dog). Her Grandchildren Kraig Wilson (Ashley), Joshua Rosen, Hailey Rosen, Lawson Policari, and Logan Policari. Her great grandchildren Lauren Wilson, Madison Wilson and Amelia Wilson.
A hard worker, dedicated mother and true free spirit, there are no words to describe the impact she made on everyone she met.
At an early age she went back to college, and worked three jobs all this to make a great life for her children. She became the supervisor of a respiratory department but always wanted more and thus decided to become an entrepreneur. She started her first business, a durable medical equipment company, followed by a nursing company and many others. After her successful career ventures she retired early and chose to live her life to the fullest.
Charlotte thoroughly enjoyed traveling, which she did often. Cruising was her favorite method of travel, allowing her to travel abroad to more countries than one can count, this on top of her visiting most every state in the United States. Her other hobbies included playing board games, card games, and any game that provided a challenge, her most favorite was mahjong.
Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and cousin… Charlotte above all embraced and took pleasure in every moment spent with her family.
Charlotte left us with one of her favorite thoughts, “You Plan, God Laughs”. When things don’t go as you plan remember to continue to live life as Charlotte did, to its fullest and surrounded by family.
