She was born April 30, 1935 in Chatham County, Savannah, Georgia to James D. Cannon and Dessie L. Myrick Cannon who preceded her in death.
She owned her own cleaning business.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Cecil Lavern Reese in 2018 and 3 brothers.
She is survived by two daughters: Janice Anne Stokley and her husband Mike and Vickie Lynne Wilson, two sons: James "Eddie" Reese and his wife: Debra and Curtis Lamar Reese and his wife: Debbie, 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
The Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at Coble Funeral & Cremation Service at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 1155 Shipyard Boulevard, Wilmington, NC 28412.
The family will receive friends and family one hour prior to the service.
Burial will follow at Oleander Memorial Gardens.
