Barbara Lawing Lathan, 88, of Wilmington, North Carolina passed away on January 29, 2025. She was born in Charlotte, North Carolina on January 25, 1937 to Clifford F. Lawing and Bernice Jordan Lawing.
Barbara is survived by her husband William “Bill” Lathan; sons: Todd Lathan and wife Lisa of Wilmington, North Carolina and Pat Lathan of Maple Hill, North Carolina; granddaughter, Madison Lathan of Leland, North Carolina and sister, Gail Lawing of Charlotte, North Carolina.
A Visitation will be held from 10am until 11am on Monday, February 3, 2025, at Coble Funeral & Cremation Service Chapel, 1155 Shipyard Blvd. Wilmington, NC 28412. The Funeral Service will follow the visitation with burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
