Barbara was preceded in death by her son, Gregory Branco.
Barbara was born in Wilkes-Barre, Pa and moved to Newark, NJ which is where she eventually met her husband, Tony. They were married in August 1960. They raised their two sons in Matawan where Barbara was a Cub Scout Den Mother and also volunteered with the special education program at Ravine Drive Elementary School. She later spent many years working at Prudential. Family vacations were spent in Cape May,NJ where Barbara enjoyed sitting in her beach chair with her feet at the ocean's edge. She also loved people watching from her favorite bench near Our Lady Star of the Sea as well as seeing Fourth of July fireworks from Congress Hall. Barbara’s retirement years were shared between Cape May and Wilmington, NC where she spent much of her time caring for and loving on her two grandchildren. Barbara was a devoted grandmother, adored mother and cherished wife. She will be dearly missed by all who loved her.
Barbara is survived by her devoted husband of almost 63 years, Anthony Branco; son, Christopher
Branco(Christine); grandchildren, Abigail and CJ Branco; two brothers, Charles(Anna) McCall and Ron McCall and nephew, Charles McCall.
Visitation for Barbara will be held on Friday, April 21, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Coble Funeral and Cremation Service at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 1155 Shipyard Blvd, Wilmington, North Carolina 28412.
Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 21, 2023 at 2:00 PM in Coble Funeral and Cremation Service Chapel with Father John McGee of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church officiating. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 1311 Shipyard Blvd, Wilmington, North Carolina 28412.
