She was born in Shallotte, NC on October 8, 1925 to the late Alfred Martin Pigott and Lillie Ludlum Pigott Parker. She was also predeceased by her husband of over 50 years, James C. Piner and son David E. Piner.
She was a very outgoing, sociable woman who cared deeply about her family and friends. Her friendliness, care and love will be irreplaceable.
She is survived by her son Michael J. Piner and wife Nancy of Wilmington. She is also survived by four grandchildren; Holly Russell, Heather Piner, Heath Piner, Nikki Mayberry and two great grandchildren, Carolina Russell and Liam Walter
. A Graveside Service will be held at 11am Saturday November 19 at Oleander Memorial Gardens with Pastor Jonathan Watson officiating.
