Victoria Mary (Rivas) Posada, passed away on Wednesday May 23, 2018 age 66, at her residence in Carson, California . Victoria was born February 4, 1952 in Torrance, California, to Tony & Amelia Rivas. She attended Holy Family Elementary School, Banning High School & Mary Star of The Sea High School. Vickie was involved in the Wilmington Pop Warner Football & Cheerleading Program, Wilmington Pony Baseball, Relay for Life Wilmington, The Sunshine Club & most recently the President of the Harbor Lites Senior Club.
Victoria is survived by her husband, Alex Posada; daughter Christina (Gerald) Berghaus; and son Danny Gutierrez; Mother: Amelia Rivas & sister Sylvia (Raymond) Monzon.
Victoria was preceded in death by her father: Tony Rivas & Son: Michael Gutierrez. She leaves her legacy on this earth through her 8 grandchildren & 1 great-grandchild.
Visitation for Vickie will be held Thursday, June 7, 2018 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Wilmington, 1640 N. Avalon Blvd., Wilmington, CA 90744. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 1011 East L Street, Wilmington, CA 90744. Interment to follow at Green Hills Memorial Park, 27501 S. Western Ave., Rancho Palos Verdes, CA 90275.
