Robert Largo

Robert Largo, was born June 8, 1933 in San Pedro, CA; he was peacefully called to the Lord on August 19, 2017, age 84, of Wilmington, CA. Predeceased by his: son Sammy Largo. Robert is survived by his sons David Largo; and Robert "Bobby" (Gabriela) Largo; brother Faustino "Lonnie" (Carrie) Daquiado. He leaves his legacy on this earth through his 4 grandchildren & 4 great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews & extended family members. Robert graduated Banning High School in 1953 & served his country proudly in the US Army, he was awarded the Korean Service Medal, United National Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal & ROK Presidential Unit Citation. He will be remembered for his many stories about growing up in the Harbor Area & his knowledge about the History of Wilmington.

Visitation for Robert will be held Thursday, August 31, 2017 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Wilmington, 1640 N. Avalon Blvd., Wilmington, CA, 90744, with a Rosary from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, also at the Mortuary. Mass of Christian burial is on Friday, September 1, 2017 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Holy Family Church, 1011 East L Street, Wilmington, CA, 90744. Inurnment will be Friday, September 8, 2017 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Green Hills Memorial Park, 27501 S. Western Ave., Rancho Palos Verdes, CA, 90275.
