Born October 13, 1933 and the lord welcomed him home on November 8, 2010 at the age of 77. He is survived by his wife Penny Ortiz, Laura Grattis (Bob), MariaElena Pynakker (John), Robert Ortiz, Frank Martinez (Camille), Yvette Martinez, Carlos Martinez (Andrea), Andrea Ramirez (Ted), Jessica Ortiz, Rebekah Ortiz, Markisha Ortiz, Eric Ortiz, his 10 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, 1 brother, 2 sisters, and many nieces, nephews and friends. Husband, father, and Papa will always be loved and greatly missed.
Visitation will be on Thursday, November 11, 2010 at Funeraria del Angel McNerney's Mortuary in Wilmington from 5pm to 9pm with a service at 7pm. Funeral service will be on Friday, November 12, 2010 at Funeraria del Angel McNerney's chapel at 10am. Interment will be at Green Hills Memorial Park in Rancho Palos Verdes.
