Ms Valerie Randall, born February 14,1954; daughter of loving parents Arnold Martin “Bud” Randall and Shayna Betty Bender Randall Goldstein; beloved wife of the late Burton Yale Eisner; dearest sister of Barbara Randall; devoted aunt of Andrew and Daniel Mickens; cherished friend of Glynis Doyle; caring step-daughter of Joseph Goldstein and family, passed away peacefully in the early morning of September 11, 2022. She was 68.
Valerie grew up in Wilmette, IL where she attended New Trier High School and began a career in the field of theatre arts and TV– as director of set decoration, production, and talent management. It was a fifteen year creative journey that took her from Wilmette to Ithaca, New York, Spring Green, Wisconsin, New Mexico, and La Hoya, California.
After developing multiple sclerosis - a devastating autoimmune disease and burden she endured for the remaining years of her life, she returned to Wilmette. Valerie was well liked by many and an avid Chicago Cubs fan, decorating her room with Cubs memorabilia.
A memorial service will be held at Weinstein & Piser Funeral Home, October 6 at 11:00 AM. A reception will follow at 5:00 PM at Mather Place, 2801 Old Glenview Road, Wilmette, IL 60091. In lieu of flowers, donations in Valerie’s memory may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, www.nationalmssociety.org.
