He is survived by his three daughters, Gayla Baxter (Peter) of Tucson, AZ, Juli MacDonald and Cheryl MacDonald both of Chicago, IL; two grandchildren, five great grandchildren and siblings, Ruby Shucker and Michael Wasserman.
In his early years he enjoyed participating in Featherweight boxing, singing, and playing the guitar. He was well known for his beautiful voice. On June 24, 1964 he married the love of his life, Marylin (Sher) and they had 3 children together. Shortly after his marriage, he was drafted and briefly served in the United States Navy before being honorably discharged. On September 25, 1965 he began his lengthy career with the United States Postal Service in Chicago. In 2000 he was recognized for his 35th Anniversary by the Postmaster General. He retired on March 1, 2001 after 36 years as a dedicated Mail Handler.
In retirement, he enjoyed eating what he called, "Chicago Cuisine" from his favorite eateries, watching wrestling and boxing, along with spending quality time with his family. Stanley had a kind and gentle soul, an affectionate heart, and beautiful green eyes. We will miss him dearly but he will live on forever in our hearts and memories.
