Selig P. (Bernie) Bernstein, a Korean War veteran, a poet and gardener, passed away on Dec. 19 at the age of 85. Devoted son of the late Ida and Alexander Bernstein; loving husband of Dorothy (nee Kaplan); beloved father of Philip, Paul, and Janet (Scott) Berry; adoring grandfather of Jaclyn and Camden Berry and Brendan Bernstein; dear brother of the late Irvin (Louise) Bernstein and the late Melvin Bernstein; cherished brother-in-law of the late David (Tovah) Kaplan; caring uncle of Lawrence, Jill, and Amy Bernstein.
