Richard J. Carmel, 88, passed away on April 8, 2025. He was the beloved husband of the late Elaine (nee' Kraus); loving father of Suzanne (David) Kenzer, and Mark Carmel; adored ”papa” of Liam and Eliana; wonderful brother of Margie (the late Ira) DuBrow, and brother-in-law of Lawry Kraus.
He had many special qualities, but probably the best was his ability to guide and mentor those in need.
Funeral service will be held Thursday, April 10, 1:00 PM at Weinstein & Piser Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Shalom Memorial Park.
