I first met Dick in the early 1980's when I was a new dentist.  He was the local expert on implants and he invited me to his office to learn from him.  He was a pioneer in the field of implant dentistry.

He was one of the generous doctors willing to give his time and energy and have me in his office on a regular basis.  He was always a character as well as an excellent and caring doctor.

I am privledged to have been his student and his friend.
