Rebecca J. Levin

Rebecca (Bobbi) Levin of Fenton, MO, passed away August 16th. Bobbi was born in Chicago September 19th 1942 to loving parents Berniece and William Levin of blessed memories. Mom was predeceased by her beloved son David Tallman just a few weeks prior to her passing. We knew her heart, spirit and strength were challenged through this ordeal but she carried on and continued to fight the good fight. She would not give in until the very end.

She is survived by children Lee (Nica) Tallman, Marcia (Gale) Armfield, Scott Tallman, her dear sister, Janet (Richard) Mintzer, grandchildren Alexandrea (Josh)Schulz, Stephanie Armfield, Clayton (Laura) Armfield, Samantha Armfield (Jonathon Bradshaw), Garrett Armfield, William, Jessica, and Leo Tallman, Great grandchildren, Samuel, Mia, Molly, Beckett, Everleigh, Bellamy, and Davie. Niece Wendy (Gary) Polisner, Nephews Ari (Lisa) Mintzer and Joshua (Alysha) Mintzer

The family would like to express our gratitude to her wonderful friends who helped her in so many ways, Stacey Enghauser, Lois & Ray McClain, and Terry Dowdy.

She always considered herself a native Chicagoan but moved to St. Louis in 1967 remaining there for the rest of her life after raising her family. She celebrated her 80th birthday this past September with her many friends and family. Her final resting place will be at Westlawn Cemetery in Norridge, Illinois near her beloved parents.

Bobbi was blessed with a beautiful and full life leaving us a tremendous legacy through four generations of family and countless friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Bobbi’s memory can be made to the Susan G. Komen foundation (komen.org) whose mission is to one day defeat breast cancer forever.

Friends and family will gather for a graveside service for Rebecca that will be held Friday, August 18th, 2023 at 1:30 PM at Westlawn Cemetery, 7801 West Montrose ave, Norridge, Illinois 60706.
