Miriam Bazelon Richman

Miriam Richman, nee Bazelon, 100. Beloved wife of the late Roland; devoted mother of Ken (Marilyn) Richman and Jim (Michael) Richman; cherished grandmother of Rachel (JP) Young, Lauren (Jason) Crane, Ricki (Matt) Alva, Kama (Joe Earhart) Simonds, Chris (Melissa) Richman, Taylor (Sarah) Richman, and Callie (Noah) Barish; proud great-grandmother of Alexis, Isabella, Hailey, Maxwell, Jackson, Maya, Mason, Nate, Owen, Leah, Alexa, Elijah, Samuel, Emerson, Samara, Charlotte, Aria, and Mira; caring sister of the late Donna Miller and Robert Bazelon; loving aunt of many. Miriam was born in Chicago and then spent many years in Milwaukee raising her kids. She and Roland retired to Palm Springs, California. Miriam has lived in Portland, Oregon since 2012. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Graveside service Wednesday, May 10, 1 PM at Memorial Park Cemetery, 9900 Gross Point Rd, Skokie. Shiva to follow until 5 PM at Weinstein & Piser Funeral Home, 111 Skokie Blvd, Wilmette. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
