Marilyn Isserman-Morris passed away on October 27, 2024 at the age of 95. She was the beloved wife of Leo Morris (z’l) who passed away 10 years earlier. Active for many years in the Democratic party she helped Lake County go Democratic for LBJ in 1964 for the first time since the Civil War. As a result, she was invited to the LBJ inauguration. She also loved ballroom dancing and traveling to Europe, Israel and places in the US. She was an avid bridge player and for years hosted bridge games at her house twice every week. Her greatest legacy is the people she left behind. She is survived by her two daughters, Kathi Miller (Kim Miller), Nancy Isserman (Joel Horwitz), and Carla Isserman (widow of her son, Richard z’l). Her grandchildren: Sam Isserman (Christine), Becky Gaudet (Brith), Rachel Horwitz Levinson (Yoni), Nechama Horwitz (Avi Bass), Michael Horwitz (Aviva), and Gavi Horwitz (Rachel) will miss spending time with Grama. In addition, she leaves 13 great-grandchildren, Eitan, Dani, and Nava Levinson; Sivan, Shaked, and Ilan Bass; Lily, Arianna, Liam, and Ella Horwitz; and Mia, Eli and Noa Horwitz. Funeral services are Thursday October 31 at 9 am at Rosehill Cemetery in Chicago in the Henning Chapel, 5800 N Ravenswood Ave Chicago, Il 60660
