I was always admired Howard’s passion for our industry and for people. His energy was magnetic, and his character was unquestionable.

Memories have a way of filling in some of the blanks we didn’t catch the first time.  Many years ago, and early in my career, Howard extended a kindness to me that I’ve never forgotten.  Since then, I’ve shared the story with other people, but suddenly couldn’t remember if I ever thanked him.  

So...“Thank you, Howard. You made a difference that has lasted my lifetime and delivered an early Master Class on how to have a positive impact when no one else is looking.” 

And to your wonderful family. . ."I am so sorry and wish you peace and comfort as you navigate every day - one step at a time."

Dear Lisa and Family, I'm so sorry for your loss. This is truly a loss for us all.  My heart is broken and I'm at a loss of words. Just know you and your entire family are in my thoughts and prayers. 

How special Howard was! His enthusiasm and work on behalf of AIPAC long ago piqued my interest and grew friendships while forging productive policy on behalf of the US-Israel relationship. Always with a kind heart and guiding hand, he led.

I am very sad and sorry to hear about Howard's passing. He was always so kind and supportive of all his staff at Iceberg. He & Lisa always made me feel welcomed and part of the Iceberg family. He truly will be missed. My condolences go out to all of Howard's friends and loved ones.

I worked at the shop for almost 20 years and he would say hello and how you been everytime I seen him.

He will be greatly missed and my prayers go out to his whole family during this time of need.



 We are so sorry to hear about Howard's passing.  I can remember in the 90's  when Howard would visit Quartet Canada he would be sure to mingle with all the employees and thank each one of them for the support and work they were doing.  He will be missed by all of us.

Our family had the honor of meeting Howard and the entire Green family in 1990.  For over 33 years, we watched their children grow from toddlers to adulthood and have formed a relationship with Lisa and Howard that has withstood the test of time.  

Working for the Green family, and Howard in particular, has been an honor.  Whether it was in Illinois, Michigan, Mississippi, California, England, Belgium, or Italy Howard always put people first, ensuring that all were treated fairly and with respect.  Howard also was a supreme optimist, always coming up with ways to overcome adversity.  He was one of the most compassionate, sincere, driven, and loyal people that I have ever met.

Debra and I are deeply saddened by the news of Howard's passing and our hearts have not yet been able to fully process the news.  Howard was my adopted, older brother.  Our relationship was filled with a  deep love and respect for each other.   We celebrated together, laughed together, cried together, and at times fought like cats and dogs, but always in the end respected and admired each other.  He was a man of ultimate character and dignity.

 I will miss you every day, my dear friend and brother.  Rest in Peace and may God be with your family during this most difficult time.

Howard you were such an amazing man. Yours and Lisa's leadership was the most outstanding I have ever encountered. It was an honor and privilege working for you. Your loss will be felt immensely. I wish Lisa and family peace in the days to come. 

One of my greatest privileges in life is to work for Howard.  I was blessed many years ago to be hired at Quartet Manufacturing,  where we first met.  Twice blessed when he hired me at Iceberg.  What a gift he gave me to work alongside him and Lisa.  Howard is the most compassionate person that I have ever known.   A kind and gentle leader no matter the circumstance.  Over the years,  I have learned so much from him and I will take those lessons throughout my life.  Always remembering his kind smile and caring words.
My thoughts and prayers are with Lisa and the entire family at this very difficult time.  Peace.

Howard was a mensch. In his soft spoken way, he was a very generous spirit, never drawing attention to himself. But most of all , I loved the way he loved Lisa.
