I remember your Dad always having a positive attitude and why not - he had the most beautiful woman I had ever seen by his side and three wonderful children to keep him on his toes ?
I'm forever grateful to my parents for choosing the community of Elmwood Park in which to build a home so that my sisters and I could grow up among families like yours.
You were fortunate to have your Dad so long !

My condolences to you and the entire Brenner family on Howard's passing. He was a devoted friend and member of the Lake Shore Drive Synagogue. I remember how he would light up his row and friends, when he and your late mother Goody would come to services. The story about Goody always having candy in her pockets was just not about her. It also was emblematic of Howard's sweet nature and big heart. I hope that all of your good memories will be of solace to you during this difficult time. May his good name always be remembered as a gift to all who knew him.
