Dear Harris, I just found out you passed away and my heart is broken, I tried to call you to say Thank You for the kind words you wrote about me and taking the time to send 2 letters to Davita, & Satelite, I had no idea you did that but sitting in court they read the letters you wrote and I cried, no one ever has said such kind words to me. Thank you for standing up for me, I wish I could give you a big hug and thank you in person. I was hoping to call you and tell you the case finally settled but nope 5 years and still battling corporate, and the bad guy walked  covid bs.
 I will see you on the other side. Big hugs to your wife, I'm so sorry for your loss.

When we first met, it was Sergeant Kinsler. When I made Sergeant, you became LIeutenant Kinsler, and then you became Commander Kinsler. You were a great boss, leader, and friend at each step. Today, as a LIeutenant, I can recall many examples of your leadership that guide me to the right decision. Rest well sir. You will be missed.

Harris was an incredible asset to the Northfield Police Department and a blessing to the community. He was always there for us, never complained, always professional, extremely knowledgeable, and never disappointed.  I am certain that he presented himself in the same manner in each of the positions that he held during his incredible career. 

He had a positive effect upon everyone he dealt with - from coworkers to the public, and helped so many in so many ways.  I just can’t say enough good things about Harris and appreciate all he did for me, as well as the Village.

He was devoted to his profession and did a great job.  My condolences to his family and friends.  His passing is a terrible loss.  May he rest in peace.
