Everytime I see Fritzie’s name or things that come up at the Holocaust Museum or anywhere, I think of her. Fritzie added so much to the world and just to me. May her memory be a blessing and for all that Fritzie gave to me.

I still remember the light Fritzie shined on the world. How she appreciated being alive and not hungry. 

Whenever I have a meal I think of her. Peace

Our mother Dorothy had a card with no name on the envelope. This is what the card says:
Some things there are no words for—only shoulders to lean on, hands to hold on to…and hugs to comfort you as best they can.

Fritzie was a true hero, as was Norm.  I always felt privileged to be their doctor, and our visits were always special.  I send my condolences to Steve and all the family.  Her memory will truly be as a blessing!

To Steve and family, this is Michele used to work at Continental restaurant years ago. Your mom was such a sweetheart when I would wait on her at  Continental. So very sorry to hear of her passing. Whenever she was on the TV I would always watch and think what a smart wonderful woman she is. Wanted to be at the funeral but was an able to but did watch livestream. Very nice. Fritzie inspired me as a Holocaust Museum docent, and she will long continue to inspire me.

Frizty you opened my eyes to those terrible years. I wasn't  born till 1963. I will always remember and think of all the lives lost. Some day I will visit the museum to learn more. Thank you for telling your story and educationing the next generations. May you rest in peace. Cathy

I will always remember Fritzie as part of our family, a woman of warmth, laughter, generosity and strength.   Fritzie defined a life well-lived.  She turned tragedy into purpose, victimization into courage, and narrow mindedness into true vision. She never allowed herself to be defined by her suffering. 
Fritzie left this world a little better than she found it, inspired thousands of people to speak out against bigotry and hatred, and raised a loving family. It was a life  well- lived and legacy to be proud of. My heart goes out to you, Steve, and your family. With much love, Reenie

I will always remember Fritzie who worked tirelessly as a volunteer at the Chicago office of the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum.  She was beautiful and always kind.  Fritzie shared her story in a way that was lasting and unforgettable. What a blessing.  Amen
