I am so very sorry for Elia’s loss. He worked for me at Banner Day Camp for a few years as a counselor. He was so kind, sincere, dedicated and loved by campers and staff alike. He was all in and loved camp! He was wonderful and we always loved having him at Banner. He was a very thoughtful and supportive person.

I met Elia as a agent working for Allaince Rx, I was his quality coach and he was one of our first hires on site. Eli and I shared alot of conversations around the Marvel universe and his beautiful son. He was an interesting personality filled with funny moments and as i remember card tricks. I can still remember his voice on the call as he serviced many of our members. He took pride in his work and always did his best to achieve goal - it hurts my heart that he has left us so young and so soon,  but his mark has not been forgotten and will always live on through his family and his son. 
    Eli you will be missed, but never forgotten and im sure you would probably say "I love you 3000" - my prayers to your family and dearest friends

I'm so sorry to hear about Elia.  Living so far away, we only met a few times in person but we spent MANY hours on the phone and chatting back and forth on-line.  The 1st time he met my kids was during Christmas a few years ago and he took to them like he'd known them forever.  He taught them several games that they still play to this day.  

They were very sad when I told them that Uncle Elia had passed away the other day.  We are all heartbroken for his friends and family.

I know that he cared so much for Max and was a wonderful father to him.   Even though he's young, we know that he'll always remember the love that his dad had for him.

I haven’t seen Eli since I spent one month in your house when I was fourteen, but I always remember what a kind, caring and loving person Eli was.

While I haven't seen Eli since we were children, I read all these beautiful messages from his loved ones and I know he continued to grow into a person who was all the things I remember and admired - sensitive, caring, concerned, warm, giving, loving. I am shocked and deeply saddened by his passing, your tragic loss, Max's loss and the world's loss - such kind souls are a rarity. I share in your tears and send you my love and prayers. 

May Eli's memory be a blessing and inspiration for all those who were fortunate enough to cross his crossed.

I shed some tears tonight when I learned of Eli’s passing.  Eli is, to me, in my forever memories, always a smiling and kind soul.  I didn’t have the easiest go of things when I was in high school, but Eli always made me feel welcome amongst the many who did not.  He made me laugh even on some of my hardest days.  I remember seeing Eli in a trench coat (that I hated so much but totally made me laugh)...  passing me by in the hallway, always with a smile to brighten my day.   As us DHS kids grew into adults, we reconnected on FB and I always enjoyed Eli’s funny posts.  The funny ones usually  made me smile and laugh.  The others, more serious, were often times spot on.  Eli, a sweet and kind classmate, a devoted father to his children, and a good friend to his friends.  That is how I will remember Eli.  I will miss the posts, and I will remember in my forever memories Eli’s kindness.  

My heart-felt condolences to Eli’s family and close friends.  Eli will always be in our hearts.

Elia was such a gentle, kind soul, and I am grateful I had the chance to know him. I’ll always think of him when I hear Blister in the Sun (or pretty much any great 90’s karaoke song), and remember the many nights we spent at karaoke and concerts. He was a friend, and though I hadn’t seen him in years, I loved seeing his pictures with Max, as he was obviously a devoted father. I am heartbroken for his family and friends. He will be missed greatly.

Dear Heniek and Gabrysia,
We are absolutely stunned after having just received an email from Wanda K. informing us about the passing of your son Eli.
With your move from Canada to the States many years ago, we did not get to know Eli well enough to share our memories of him. We do wish, however, to offer you our condolences and expressions of sympathy during this difficult time in your lives. 

I have known Elia since he was a toddler. He and his family lived across the street from me in Toronto. I was so close with Sharon,  and Elia was always around. We have kept in touch for many years on Facebook and I just spoke to him last Friday.  He sent me a beautiful memory of my dad when he passed away in December. I am in complete shock  and have not stopped thinking about Elia and his son Max.  May Max grow up to know what a loving and devoted father he had and cherish the many pictures and videos that so fortunately were taken. My deepest condolences to the whole family.  

Dear Flicker Family.  There are no words to express the sorrow of losing the son, brother and father that Elia was.  I remember him coming to our house across the street from you on Donnamora all those years ago.  He was only 3 or 4 years old.  Your pain must be riveting and I extend my sincerest condolences to all of you for your ultimate loss.

Elia was my stepfather for a period of time. He was very kind and friendly to my brother and I. One time I made salmon, and I made the wrong recipe and it was the worst thing I have ever tasted, Elia ate the whole thing and said I did a good job. For my birthday he got me a notebook because I loved to write and he signed it from my Little Brother Max. Elia and I played many hours of Mario Kart Wii together and also swam in the pool many times. I grieve for my little brother Max who is left without his father. Jacob and I will continue to love and care for Max as if he was our own. Peace and blessings to all.

My name is Madame Karen Trom. I was Eli’s French Teacher at Deerfield High School. I remember Eli as a sweet, loving and kind young man.  He had such a warm smile and he was a conscientious student in my class. I am truly heartbroken to learn of his passing. 
He is far too young to be leaving us and I pray for his beautiful soul that it may experience the grace of God and be reunited with all those who have departed before him. May our precious Eli Rest In Peace. 

Elia was just the most genuine person you could ever hope to know. He wore his huge heart on his sleeve and during the years we were a regular part of each other's lives on the karaoke scene, he always made me feel warm and welcome in any room. I'll always remember the night he snuck my friends and I into MyGym after hours to rough and tumble like a bunch of kids. To me, that was classic Elia: A little mischievous and a lot playful.

I am at a loss for words over his passing. Sending love and strength to all his friends and family during this tragic time. I'm just so sorry to hear this.

you were always  so kind  and talked to everyone and was always willing to help and very respectful . For the short  time I knew you at work, I can truly say you were a  wonderful person and  it was an honor to know  you and interact. you will be missed physically but  your impact will forever be felt. A truly  great soul. May God comfort your family and friends.

Every time I saw you, you had a smile, you were so kind and caring, the short time we worked together I can honestly say you were one of the sweetest people I knew, always talked about your beautiful son and how you loved and adored him!!! Take your sweet rest now.!!! Fly high brother until we meet again ❤️

Elia, the times you shared with my son are times that he still remembers and are times that I will never forget. Thank you for being there for him and me....you had the kindest heart and the sweetest soul. 

To Elia's parents and family: Always know what a wonderful, caring, empathetic and intelligent person he was.  Elia was quick to lighten the mood, whether it be with a magic trick, a joke, a little saying or just letting you vent.  I've never met anyone as genuine or authentic as him. Ever.  

Elia was easily my best friend.  I could see him everyday and welcomed every experience I could have with him. Learning of his passing destroyed me.  There will never be another Elia;  Not to me and I'm sure the same is true to many people.  I cant say enough good things about this wonderful man. I only hope to see him again and be able to laugh and sing like we used to. 

Elia was a wonderful friend; quick with a smile and always willing to let me vent. We went through so much together and he will always be in my heart, thoughts, and memories. Rest In Peace.
