Elaine Bayer nee Wagner, 76, of Grand Beach, Michigan and Frankfort, Illinois passed away June 18. A beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, she is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Howard; children, Sandra (Eric) Plourde, Robert (Jennifer) Bayer, and Jeremy (Elizabeth) Bayer; and grandchildren, Kyle Plourde, Allison Plourde, Ethan Bayer, Karley Bayer, Noah Bayer and Sammy Bayer.
Elaine lived a life full of passion. She loved nothing more than spending time with her family at her summer home in Grand Beach, getting kisses from her Portuguese Water Dog Emmie Claire, traveling to exotic destinations, and supporting Democrats and progressive causes.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 21, 11:00 a.m. at Jewish Oak Ridge Cemetery, 4301 Roosevelt Road, Hillside, Illinois 60162. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Elaine’s name may be made to Hadassah Chicago-North Chapter, https://www.hadassah.org/donate
