Anne Stone Weaver, 73, of Glenview, Illinois, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2024. She was born in Moline, Illinois. She grew up in Moline and Rock Island, Illinois. She received her BA degree in Sociology from the University of Illinois in Urbana. After receiving her MBA degree in Finance from DuPaul University in Chicago, she worked for 20 years in the Research Department of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago.
Growing up she was an avid tennis player and member of the Rock Island tennis team. She lived in Wilmette, Illinois, for 43 years before moving to Glenview in 2019. She enjoyed winters on the beach with her family in Sanibel, Florida, for 37 years, and frequent summer trips to the Aspen Music Festival. She loved her TV Soap Operas and New York Times Crosswords.
She is survived by her loving husband, Clayton, daughter, Elizabeth, and Sister-in-Law Nanette Stone. Aunt Elaine Steinmetz and numerous nieces and cousins. She was preceded in death by her loving parents Alex and Martha Stone and her brother, Lewis Stone.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 15th, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Weinstein & Piser Funeral Home, 111 Skokie Boulevard, Wilmette, IL 60091. Interment at Memorial Park Cemetery. A gathering will take place at the family home following the services.
