Alan Lurie

Alan Jeffrey Lurie, 75, beloved son of the late Max and Naomi Lurie; husband for over 50 years of Roseanne Lurie; devoted father of Michael (Karen) Lurie; proud grandfather of Franklin and Margot Lurie; cherished brother of Adrianne (Richard) Orloff and Joseph (Marianne) Lurie; caring uncle of many nieces and nephews; and loyal companion to faithful & furry Henry. Alan was a very dedicated friend, successful businessman, world traveler, avid golfer and passionate fly fisherman who was widely appreciated and admired for his wonderful sense of humor, indefatigable work ethic, remarkable perseverance and positive attitude in the face of difficulty, and great enthusiasm for life generally. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 14th at 1:30 p.m. at Rosemont Park Cemetery, 6758 West Addison Street, Chicago, Illinois.
