Robert C. Heron, of Tonawanda, NY entered into rest on March 9, 2024 at age 94. Beloved husband of the late Alice (nee Black) Heron; devoted father of Charles (Karen) and James Heron; cherished grandfather of Gordon, Kimberly (Sarah), Bradley (Laura), Lindsay (Andy) Minkel, Sara (Kevin) Whalen, Aaron, Matthew and the late Keith Heron; adored great-grandfather of 5; dear brother of the late Elizabeth (late Lyman) Nelson; also survived by loving nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may visit PERNA, DENGLER, ROBERTS FUNERAL HOME, 1671 Maple Rd., Williamsville, NY 14221 on Saturday (March 16, 2024) from 11am-1:30pm. A funeral service will immediately follow at 1:30pm. Mr. Heron was a veteran of the US Marine Corps and was the owner of Mohawk Abrasive & Tool Co. Flowers gratefully declined.
