Linda Wolcott

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Linda Wolcott, who went home to be with her Heavenly Father on January 21, 2024. She will be dearly missed by family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. As we grieve the loss of Linda, we take comfort in knowing she is now free of all suffering and has the hope of everlasting life in Christ Jesus.

Linda was born on December 23, 1950 in Utica, NY to Stanley and Emily Prochaska. Linda was the devoted wife to Jack Wolcott; loving mother to Shawn (Tammy) Wolcott and Robert Wolcott (Tiffany Klin); loving grandmother to Michael, Christopher, Cara, and Parker Wolcott; and dear sister to Joanie (Jack) LaBeff.

Linda graduated from Utica College with her Associates Degree in Business Management. She began her career at St. Luke’s hospital in the Administration Department. In 1978 the family moved to the Western New York area. Throughout the following years Linda held a variety of positions as Assistant Controller at Dinaire Corporation, Owner of Fantastic Sams, and retired as Payroll Administrator for Wolco Marketing Group.

For the past 30 years Linda bravely battled MS. She did not let this diagnosis stop her from living her life and supporting her family. Linda had a love for being around people. She easily made friends and formed lasting relationships. Linda was known for being personable, outgoing, and genuinely compassionate towards others.

Family and friends may visit the family on Friday, January 26, 2024 from 4-7pm at Perna, Dengler, Roberts Funeral Home 1671 Maple Rd. Williamsville, NY 14221. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at 10:30am at Amherst Alliance Church 3915 Millersport Highway. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Buffalo City Mission.
