Joseph D. Weldon Sr., age 95, of Ticonderoga, New York passed away on Thursday, November 23, 2023.
Beloved husband of 74 years to Julia (Rondeau) Weldon; dear father of Joseph (Kathleen), Gregory, Mark (Sheila) Weldon, Theresa (Donald) Shulz, Andrew (Deborah), Vincent Weldon, Lorraine (Mark) Paige, Matthew (Dawn) and the late Peter (Linda) Weldon. Grandfather of 21, great-grandfather of 35, great-great grandfather of 4, brother of the late James Weldon. Family will be present for visitation on Wednesday November 29 from 9-10AM at the Perna,Dengler,Roberts Funeral Home, 1671 Maple Rd. immediately followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at St. Gregory the Great Church at 10:30AM. Joseph will be laid to rest at the WNY National Cemetery in Corfu, NY on Thursday at 10AM with full Military Honors. Joseph retired after 21 years of service in the US Army as Chief Warrant Officer 2 and Assistant Regional Manager at Pinkerton Security.
