Jean M. Galloway, 83, of Williamsville, beloved wife and loving mother, passed away surrounded by family on January 8th.

She was born to Albert and Lydia (Beckedorf) Boldt on December 16, 1940 in Orchard Park, NY.

She married Ronald F. Galloway Jr. on March 27, 1960 who she met in 1958 where they worked together at Worthington Corporation in Buffalo, NY.

Jean was a graduate of Orchard Park High School in Orchard Park, NY, where she was voted best dressed her senior year… a quality all would agree she retained the rest of her years. She was a member of Williamsville United Methodist Church where she was active in the senior choir and a variety of other groups over her 40+ years at the church. In addition to raising her family, Jean worked for Color Concepts, JP Michaels Associates and remained an active Mary Kay representative.

Everywhere Jean went, her vibrant energy cultivated amazing friendships. Her church, neighbors, gym friends, work friends, line dancing friends, Florida group and of course her golfing crew. She loved being social, active and outdoors. She kept beautiful gardens, had impeccable style and proudly achieved 3 hole-in-ones in a decades long golf career where she still was breaking 50 for 9 holes regularly.

Above all… she loved her family. She is survived by her husband, Ronald Galloway, her children Julie and Craig (Emily) Galloway, her granddaughter Breana McGee, her two grandsons, Collin and Aidan Galloway. She is the sister of the late Shirley (late David) Maurer and is also survived by niece Debra Maurer and nephews Peter and John Maurer.
