BATT - Carol M.

(nee Schaab)

Passed away on Monday, February

29, 2016, surrounded by family. Mrs.

Batt was born in 1934, the daughter

of William Alexander Schaab and

Rita Marie (Bickelman) Schaab. She

was predeceased by her parents and

her beloved older sister, Ritamarie

Ann Schaab. A graduate of P.S. 62,

St. Nicholas Academy and D'Youville

College, Mrs. Batt won accolades as a

teacher in the Buffalo Public Schools,

but Mrs. Batt was most proud of being

a mother. Mrs. Batt is survived

by Ronald E. Batt, M.D. (Kathleen);

William A. Schaab Jr. (Mary Kay); her

six children: Paula Batt Wilson (Raymond),

Douglas Alexander Batt (Dominique),

Thomas Alan (Galen), Neil

Anthony Batt, Jennifer Ann Michalski

and John Ronald Batt (Penny); her 13

grandchildren: Carolyn (Ben), Thomas

(Jessica), Julia (Jeremy), Claire,

Nina, Alexander, Sam, Finn, Dell,

Anna, Jack, Gus and Redding; her two

great-grandchildren: Horatio and Cora;

many nieces and nephews; and dear

friends Bonnie Werdein and James

and Ann Marie MacIssac. Family will

be present to receive friends Thursday

from 7-9 PM at BEACH-TUYN

FUNERAL HOME, INC., 5541 Main St.

(at Cayuga Rd.), Williamsville. Friends

are invited to attend a Mass of Christian

Burial Friday morning at 9:30 in

SS. Peter & Paul Church, Williamsville.

Please assemble at church. In lieu of

flowers, the family suggests contributions

to Our Lady of Angels Association,
