Dad .. we'll be spending our first Father's Day without you here ......can't inagine how to do this, but as the amazing family we are, we will celebrate you and your memory together. I know we'll laugh, and I know we'll cry, too. Just know how much of a mark you left on all of us.  Happy Blessed Father's Day.

Grandpa, today is our first St. Joseph Day that you  wont be sitting at the head of the table. At least we can all take comfort in the fact that you are celebrating it with grandma again, watching over what you two have created. As an adult I looked forward to St. Joseph Day more than Christmas, a day of great eating and great family, until I had kids and watching them on Christmas morning kind of took the top spot but not by much. Tonight there will still be great food and great family, lots of laughs and certainly  a few tears, but it wont be the same without you at the end of the table. You and Grandma started something great here and I look at today as a celebration of what the two of you left behind on this earth. While your seats may be empty you have both filled our hearts with more love than anyone could ever ask for. Love you always. And yes grandpa I am still working on that bathroom.

Dad .. well ,it's been 4 weeks since we lost you, and it still seems so surreal. I can still hear you in this house .. are you checking up on me ? In know in my heart that you are now where there is no more pain, where you don't have to struggle so to walk and to talk. I know you are where you were
destined to one day be ..once again with Mom. You have left such a huge hole in my life and in my heart.
Rest, Dad, knowing that we gave you all that we had, and that you, in turn, gave us more! Were you not incredibly proud of your entire family, and the way we all came together; we cried, we laughed and we loved .. together .. as the amazing family we all are because of all that you and Mom did for us and gave to us.
Rest, Dad. Watch over all of us.
And, oh, by the way, I am turing down the thermostats and even checking the basement for water. You taught me well.

Grandpa words can't express how blessed I was to have you in my life.  You accepted me into your family as one of your own from the very beginning.  You showed me as much love as you did the rest of your grandchildren.  The day my papa Babe passed away was one of the hardest days of my life.  I'll never forget your taking me in your arms and saying to me "I will never be him, but I will always be your papa".  Thank you for loving me so much.  I will miss laughing with you, your on going teasing, you looking forward to my oatmeal cookies and most of all you calling me "little girl".  I am so fortunate to have our Sunday morning memories.  Isabella and Dante will forever remember eating all your bananas and drinking all your orange juice from the silly cup.  You will be forever in our hearts.  Tell Rosie I mastered the pizza and now to learn how to make the rolls and cookies!

Sciortino Family, 
I was very saddened to hear of Mr. Sciortino passing away. He was a very special man and I learned a lot about life talking to him at his "office" on the porch. Both of your parents made me feel like I was part of your family from the time I met them. I have thought about him every time I've seen a Yankees game or jersey for the last 35 years.  I know he is in heaven with Mrs. Sciortino having sauce getting ready for spring training. I will keep the good memories of both your parents with me forever.

Grandpa I still can't believe that you are gone.  I just want to be able to talk to you one last time.  Thank you for being such an amazing man and grandfather.  You made me feel like your grand daughter from the first day I met you.  I am so glad that I had the last 16 years with you. Grandpa you have meant more to me in my life than you can ever know. You were always there to talk to, to offer advice and to just teach me about life. I always seemed to take something away from the conversations we had. I am a lucky man to have known you for 35yrs and I can only hope that my kids and grandkids and great-grandkids will look up to me like we all look up to you.
